The verdict
The PharMeDoc U-shape wraps around you so you can switch from your left side to your right without dragging the pillow along, which is genuinely nice as your belly grows. It's one of the best-selling pregnancy pillows on Amazon for good reason: the support-to-price ratio is excellent and the jersey-knit cover zips off for washing. The trade-off is bulk, since a U-shape essentially puts a pillow on both sides of you and swallows a good chunk of the mattress. Skip it if you have a smaller bed or a partner who won't cede the territory, and note the fill is medium-soft, so anyone wanting firm structure may prefer the Snoogle.
