The verdict
The BassiNest solves the real newborn problem: getting to your baby without getting out of bed. It swivels over your mattress and the bedside wall lowers so you can tend or feed nearly lying down — a genuine gift after a C-section. The mesh sides are breathable and the base tucks under most bed frames. Bulky and not truly portable, but as a bedside sleeper it's the class of the field.
